Interior Designer in Castle Pines & Castle Rock

Halcyon Haus is a full-service design studio working with homeowners across Castle Pines, Castle Pines Village, and Castle Rock. Based right here in Castle Rock, we take on turn-key renovations, from full builds to room reconfigurations, rooted in warm, transitional design that is built around how you actually live.

Renovation design for Castle Pines & Castle Rock homes

Many homes around Castle Pines Village, Castle Rock, and the surrounding golf communities were built with good bones and rooms that no longer fit how families live today. That is the work Halcyon Haus is built for: reworking a kitchen around how you actually cook and gather, defining spaces so each room has a clear purpose, and choosing materials that feel settled and warm rather than trend-driven.

Sometimes that means taking a large, open great room and giving it more definition and intimacy. Other times it is updating a dated kitchen or primary bath with new cabinetry, stone, and fixtures while keeping the footprint. Every home is different, and the plan follows the house and the people in it rather than a formula.

How we approach a home

Provenance

Every object carries a history, and that history is worth understanding before it's touched. Knowing where something came from is what separates real preservation from guesswork.

Preservation

Some homes have lived past their prime but still have a story to tell. A home's character was never in the studs and drywall. The work is knowing which parts of that story to keep, and building something new around them.

Permanence

Underneath every choice is a material or finish built to age alongside the people living with it. Homes made to outlast the moment they were designed in, not just fit inside it.

Canyon Cottage

Castle Pines Village

A whole-home renovation in Castle Pines Village. The kitchen is built around Benjamin Moore Pashmina cabinetry, a custom Venetian plaster range hood, and vein-matched Mont Blanc quartzite. The primary bath and dining room carry the same modern French country sensibility: natural materials, a restrained palette, and details chosen to feel collected rather than installed.

“Incredible designer, sweetest human with impeccable taste! Really knows how to visualize spaces and then transform them. She is extremely knowledgeable, knows where to splurge and where to save, and was happy to work within our budget and be very honest with design recommendations.”
